Customer Service

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers in finding products, answer questions, and offer recommendations based on their needs.
• Provide product knowledge, helping customers understand features, benefits, and usage.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Actively engage with customers to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Assist with processing transactions at the cash register, including handling payments (cash, card, or digital payments).
• Inform customers about promotions, discounts, and store loyalty programs.

Stock Management

• Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked, replenishing items as necessary.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, checking stock levels, and organizing products on the shelves.
• Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring products are presented attractively and in line with store guidelines.
• Assist in preparing products for restocking, including tagging, labeling, or packaging items.

Education

• Minimum Education: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is generally required for most entry-level positions.
• Further Education: Some employers may prefer candidates with additional qualifications in business, retail management, or sales. However, this is not always required.

Experience

• Entry-Level: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is often beneficial but not always necessary for entry-level roles. Many employers are willing to train new employees.
