Job Description
  • Support the development and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety programs, policies, and initiatives.
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety-related complaints, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and conduct safety training, orientations, and awareness programs for employees, visitors, and other stakeholders.
  • Implement fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and safety equipment programs.
  • Monitor compliance with company safety standards and applicable government regulations and requirements.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies such as DOLE, BFP, PPA, DENR, and LGUs on safety, permits, licenses, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure timely closure of safety findings and corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation and continual improvement of 5S, ISO, GMP, and other management systems.
  • Analyze safety data and prepare reports, recommendations, and safety performance updates for management.
  • Work closely with different departments to promote a strong safety culture and ensure consistent implementation of safety practices.Support food safety, quality, and Halal requirements within the assigned area.
  • Perform other SHE-related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of any Engineering course or BS/Diploma in Engineering Technology.
  • Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE/SHE) functions.
  • License: Valid Driver’s License; Professional License is an advantage.
  • Certification: Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Practitioner certification is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices, hazard identification and risk assessment, safety inspections, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Other: Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
