Job summary

Pilmico (an Aboitiz company) is hiring for a Health, Safety, and Environment role in the Philippines. The candidate will support HSE programs, conduct safety inspections and risk assessments, investigate incidents, and help with training and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes collaboration across departments to foster a strong safety culture and maintain food safety standards. Education in engineering and 3–5 years of HSE/SHE experience are required, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of any Engineering course or BS/Diploma in Engineering Technology.
• Experience: 3–5 years in HSE/SHE functions.
• License: Valid Driver’s License; Professional License is an advantage.
• Certification: OSH Practitioner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety programs, policies, and initiatives.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments to ensure a safe workplace.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety-related complaints, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and conduct safety training, orientations, and awareness programs for employees, visitors, and other stakeholders.
• Implement fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and safety equipment programs.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies on safety, permits, licenses, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and ensure timely closure of safety findings and corrective actions.
• Support the implementation and continual improvement of 5S, ISO, GMP, and other management systems.
• Analyze safety data and prepare reports for management.
• Work with departments to promote a strong safety culture and ensure consistent safety practices.
• Support food safety, quality, and Halal requirements within the assigned area.

Job Description

• Analyze safety data and prepare reports, recommendations, and safety performance updates for management.
• Work closely with different departments to promote a strong safety culture and ensure consistent implementation of safety practices.
• Support food safety, quality, and Halal requirements within the assigned area.
• Perform other SHE-related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of any Engineering course or BS/Diploma in Engineering Technology.
• Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE/SHE) functions.
• License: Valid Driver’s License; Professional License is an advantage.
• Certification: Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Practitioner certification is preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices, hazard identification and risk assessment, safety inspections, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Other: Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
