Job summary

Agripacific Corporation is seeking a Safety Officer to join our Safety Team in Cavite. You will help implement, monitor, and continually improve Occupational Safety and Health programs to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.

Must hold a college degree in engineering or related technical field, 2–3 years OSH experience in manufacturing, and be a qualified SO3 with DOLE BOSH training. Willingness to be stationed at Sitio Postema, Brgy. Sahud Ulan, Tanza, Cavite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 2–3 years of OSH experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• SO3 certification with DOLE training (BOSH) and advanced OSH training.
• Knowledge of DOLE regulations and Occupational Safety and Health Standards.

About the role:

Join our Safety Team and play an important role in promoting a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace. The Safety Officer will assist in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs at the assigned worksite.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs and initiatives.

• Conduct safety orientations, and other safety awareness activities.

• Conduct regular workplace inspections and help identify and address potential safety hazards.

• Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture and compliance with company safety policies and OSH standards.

• Assist in investigating workplace incidents and preparing incident reports and corrective action recommendations.

• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and other OSH-related reports.

• Support compliance with applicable safety regulations, permits, and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with employees and relevant departments on safety concerns, corrective actions, and preventive measures.

About you:

• College graduate, preferably with a degree in Engineering or any related technical field.
• With at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Must be a qualified Safety Officer 3 (SO3), with the required BOSH training, advanced OSH training, and relevant work experience.
• Must have completed 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training from a DOLE-accredited training provider.
• Knowledgeable in DOLE regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Standards, and applicable workplace safety requirements.
• Experienced in conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, safety orientations, and preparation of incident reports.
• Proficient in written and oral communication skills.
• Willing to be assigned at Sitio Postema, Brgy. Sahud Ulan, Tanza, Cavite.
