Job summary

JEMCO is seeking a proactive EHS Officer to help implement and monitor environmental, health, and safety programs at our Santo Tomas, Batangas project site. You will ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.

The ideal candidate is COSH-certified SO2, with 1–2 years in construction or industrial safety, and readiness to coordinate with subcontractors, conduct inspections, and lead safety trainings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering, Industrial Technology, Environmental Science, or a related course.
• COS H-trained SO2 certification per DOLE requirements is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in construction or industrial safety is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the site EHS program and safety activities.
• Conduct workplace inspections and hazard identification.
• Monitor compliance with the PTW system.
• Coordinate safety training, toolbox meetings, and emergency drills.
• Assist in incident investigations and reporting of near-misses.
• Follow up on EHS concerns and corrective actions.
• Support HIRA activities and compliance with DOLE/DENR/LGU requirements.
• Maintain EHS records and documentation for audits.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in incident, accident, and near-miss investigations and reporting.
• Monitor corrective actions and follow up on EHS concerns.
• Support HIRA activities and compliance with applicable DOLE, DENR, and LGU requirements.
• Maintain EHS records, reports, and documentation for audits and reference.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Engineering, Industrial Technology, Environmental Science, or a related course.
• COSH-trained Safety Officer 2 (SO2) in accordance with applicable DOLE requirements.
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in construction or industrial safety.
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) and environmental regulations.
• Willing to be assigned to the project site in Santo Tomas, Batangas.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in construction or industrial project sites.
• Familiarity with HIRA, PTW, incident investigation, and emergency preparedness.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and conducting safety training.
