Job summary

Treasure Island Industrial Corp. in Mandaue City, Philippines, is seeking a qualified EHS Officer to lead health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with Philippine laws and TIIC policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time processing and submission of DOLE permits and reportorial requirements.
• Monitor work environment, transport safety, material handling, fire protection and emergency preparedness.

Job description

• Any Bachelor of Science course.

• 2 years of working experience in Environmental, Health and Safety.

• Responsible for ensuring TIIC’s compliance to Philippine Health and Occupational Safety Laws and Regulations, TIIC Health and Safety policies and other related industry standards / best management practices.

• Spearheads the development and implementation of OHS programs and activities that are designed to prevent occupational injury and illness in the workplace such as but not limited to PPE Management, Contractor Control, Equipment/ Tool Safety, Incident Escalation & Investigation, Risk Assessment, Transport Safety, Work Environment Monitoring (WEM), Material Handling, Fire Protection and Emergency Preparedness and Response.

• Ensures on‑time processing/ submission of permitting and reportorial requirements set by DOLE and other relevant government agencies.

• Ensures effective investigation of all OHS‑related workplace incidents through appropriate root cause analysis and the recommendation of corrective and preventive actions to ensure the non‑recurrence of the incident.

• Willing to work in Mandaue City.
