Job summary

Beauty Elements Ventures Manufacturing Inc. in Laguna seeks a Safety Officer to serve as Secretary to the Health and Safety Committee, advise on safety matters, investigate accidents with the Engineering Manager, coordinate safety training, conduct inspections, maintain records, assist government inspections, and perform related duties as assigned.

Must hold a bachelor's degree (preferably engineering), have at least 1 year of Safety Officer experience, and complete a 40-hour BOSH training

• At least 1 year of safety officer experience.
• Must have 40-hour BOSH training.

• Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to health and safety for the guidance of the employer and the workers.
• Conduct investigation of accident as member of the health and safety committee and submit his separate report and analysis of accidents to the Engineering Manager.
• Coordinates all health and safety training programs for the employees and employer.
• Conduct health and safety inspection as member of the committee.
• Maintains or helps in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinates actions taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes.
• Provides assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspections, accident investigation or any other related programs.
• Perform other job-related duties that may be assigned by superior.
