Airnergy and Renewables, Inc. is seeking an experienced OSH professional to oversee the company's safety program and ensure compliance with Philippine OSHS standards. You will coordinate with the OSH committee, monitor safety across operations, and support inspectors.
The role requires 3+ years in Renewable Energy or electrical power, plus a 48-hour BOSH training and strong knowledge of safety management systems. Excellent communication and MS Office skills are essential.
1. Oversee the overall management of the OSH program in coordination with the OSH committee
2. Frequently monitor and inspect all health and safety aspects of operations
3. Assist government inspectors during safety and health inspections at any time, whenever work is being performed
4. Determine if there are any accidents, disabling injuries, imminent dangers, or dangerous occurrences in the workplace, and implement immediate corrective or preventive actions
5. lssue WSO as necessary, following the requirements and procedures set forth in Department Order No. 238, Series of 2023, OSHS, and its subsequent issuances
6. Report accidents, disabling injuries, imminent dangers, and dangerous occurrences to the DOLE office having jurisdiction over the workplace within 24 hours;
7. As the secretary of the OSH Committee, record the minutes of monthly meetings and submit them to the DOLE
8. Perform any other tasks as may be deemed necessary.
9. Perform additional tasks as long as these align with their skills, education, training, and certifications.
1. Graduate of any Bachelor's/College Degree.
2. Qualified Safety Officer 3 with the following credentials:
a. Mandatory 48-Hour BOSH training from an accredited training organization or a university-based education relevant to the industry.
b. Additional aggregate 48 hours of advanced/specialized OSH training courses relevant to the industry
c. At least 2 years relevant OSH experience
3. With at least 3 years of Renewable Energy/Electrical Power Industry experience.
4. Excellent knowledge of OSH legislations and procedures.
5. Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
6. Working knowledge of safety management information systems.
7. Must be trained in BOSH, First Aid, and Emergency and Evacuation.
8. Proficient in MS Office.
9. Outstanding organizational skills.
10. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
11. With a Valid Driver's License and knows how to drive 4-wheel manual and automatic vehicles.
