CDO Foodsphere, Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer to develop and implement safety standards across operations. You will lead awareness programs for safety and emergency preparedness, perform hazard analyses, and enforce controls to prevent incidents.
You will investigate accidents and guide preventative measures, while ensuring compliance with company policies. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Nursing), SO3 level with BOSH cert, and at least 2 years of manufacturing safety
Develops and implements safety regulations and standards appropriate for operations
Leads educational programs that promote awareness on standards for safety and emergency preparedness
Carries out hazard analysis and risk assessments to establish and enforce controls for workplace safety
Represents the organization on all matters pertaining to safety
Manages data and submits reports applicable to stakeholders
Conducts accident investigations and provides guidance on the application of preventative measures
Complies with company policies and procedures such as Code of Conduct, Food Safety, Quality, Environment, Health, Safety and others.
Reports issue, deviation or any potential or actual emergency situation to immediate superior or authorized/designated person.
Performs other related duties that may be assigned by his/her superior from time to time.
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably Bachelor of Science in any Engineering or Nursing
SO3 leve, with BOSH certification and at least 48hours of advanced occupational safety training
At least two (2) years experience as a full-time Safety Officer, preferably in the manufacturing
industry
