Job summary

afniexternalcareers is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the Occupational Safety and Health program across multiple BPO sites in the Philippines. You will drive compliance with OSHS, DOLE regulations, and fire codes while fostering a proactive safety culture.

You will manage hazards, lead emergency preparedness, incidents investigations, and safety training, coordinating with Operations, HR, Facilities, and senior leadership to ensure a safe and resilient workplace for employees and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OSH or a related discipline.
• DOLE-accredited Safety Officer certification (SO3 minimum or SO4 preferred).
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Occupational Safety and Health experience.
• At least three (3) years of leadership experience managing Safety Officers or multi-site safety programs.
• Experience supporting a large BPO, shared services, contact center, or corporate office environment with 24/7 operations.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Occupational Safety and Health Standards, Labor Code, Fire Code, and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the OSH Management System across all BPO locations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHS, DOLE Regulations, BFP requirements and company policies.
• Lead Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) activities.
• Develop Emergency Response Plans and lead drills and evacuation exercises.
• Direct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA tracking.
• Oversee ergonomics and employee well-being programs for contact center operations.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness campaigns.
• Manage contractor safety for site works and audits.
• Lead a team of Safety Officers and Safety Coordinators across sites.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, Nursing, or a related discipline
