Job summary

Amex GBT in Manila is seeking a skilled software professional to develop Sabre scripting and Sabre Red applications, and to modernize legacy Sabre Scribe code into TypeScript. Qualifications

5+ years in travel tech or travel industry preferred.
2+ years developing Sabre Scribe or Sabre Red apps (TypeScript).
3+ years hands-on with Sabre GDS systems.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Flexible to work half of a shift during US business hours.

Responsibilities

Create new and update existing Sabre scripts and Sabre Red apps as assigned.
Convert legacy Sabre Scribe code to modern Sabre Red apps in TypeScript with parity and performance gains.
Design and implement API integrations to enhance Sabre Red App functionality.
Utilize AI tools to improve code quality and accelerate development.
Research and respond to internal support requests and change requests.
Coordinate onboarding and testing for new customers with stakeholders.
Test and document application functionality for quality and maintainability.
Manage product support for defects and troubleshooting.
Maintain understanding of tools and Travel Consultant workflows; foresee roadblocks.
