Job summary

Amex GBT in Manila is seeking a software development professional to support and extend the Compleat automation platform used by Travel Management Companies. The role focuses on designing and maintaining Compleat functions, API integrations, and leveraging AI tools to improve code quality while meeting tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5+ years in travel tech, hands-on Sabre/GDS experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a travel agency or corporate travel management company.
• 3+ years of development experience with Compleat or a similar travel agency automation platform.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience using GDS systems, specifically Sabre.
• Strong prioritization, time management, decision-making, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Flexibility to work at least half of a scheduled shift to coincide with US business hours (Central time zone)

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Compleat functions as directed by team leadership.
• Design and implement API integrations to enhance Compleat functionality and streamline travel workflows.
• Use AI tools to enhance code quality, accelerate development cycles, and improve problem-solving.
• Research and respond to support requests from internal customers (support tickets and change requests).
• Test and document functionality to ensure high quality performance and maintainability.
• Liaise with other teams and departments to address issues or gaps impacting Compleat functionality.
• Maintain a strong understanding of all applicable Compleat functions, workflows, and system integrations.
• Attend and/or lead relevant meetings and conference calls.
• Monitor and advise team leadership of potential roadblocks, issues, and technical challenges.
