Job summary

Gallagher in Manila is seeking an experienced Automation Developer/Engineer to lead RPA initiatives, design, develop, test, and maintain automated solutions using UiPath, Power Automate, and other tools, aligning with business priorities.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, ensure SLAs, document designs, participate in on-call rotations, and stay current with emerging automation technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Automation Developer/Engineer.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, .Net, or similar languages.
• Solid understanding of process analysis, design, and optimisation.
• Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in broking systems is highly desirable.
• Experience with integrating RPA solutions with enterprise systems and applications.
• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting RPA workflows and scripts.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with key business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and enhancements to existing automation.
• Design, develop, test and implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to streamline business processes.
• Maintain RPA solutions to ensure schedules, reports, and SLAs are achieved.
• Enhance existing RPA solutions to ensure optimal performance, stability, and scalability.
• Maintain and support RPA solutions and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor and troubleshoot RPA bots and workflows to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in RPA development.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process design documents, solution design documents, and user guides.

Primary Objective

As an RPA Automation Developer and Operations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining these transformative initiatives. Collaboration will be key to your success as you work with cross-functional teams to integrate RPA solutions with enterprise systems.
