Job summary

Thermovar Pipes Sales and Services seeks a QA/QC Engineer to ensure the correctness and consistency of lines, symbols, and tagging for installation. The role includes inspecting plans, materials, and installed works to meet client standards and prepares inspection reports.

Responsibilities cover preparing inspection documents, conducting official inspections, updating As Built Drawings, and participating in site audits related to Line, Grade, and quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Sanitary).
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Conscientious about commitments and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Checks and ensures approved plans are available and usable.
• Reflects plumbing, sanitary, fire protection and mechanical plans to actual site locations using established references.
• Ensures correctness and consistency of lines, symbols and line tagging.
• Checks and ensures approved materials are available and usable.
• Ensures installed works meet quality and client standards.
• Prepares inspection documents, schedules inspections (internal and with client), conducts inspections and tests, maintains reports.
• Ensures As Built Drawings are correct and accurate.
• Prepares, monitors and updates quality-related correspondence (Quality Bulletins) to assure quality control.
• Reports and analyzes punchlists and sub-standard work during inspections to prevent recurrence.
• Participates in internal and external site audits related to Line and Grade, QA/QC.
