Ensures the correctness, accuracy and consistency of the lines, symbols and line tagging used to avoid confusions and make installation activities easier for the operations team and quality checking easier for the assigned QAQC Engineer. Internally and officially inspects, tests and ensures that scopes of works meet quality and client standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Checks and ensures that approved plans are available and usable.
2. Reflects plumbing and sanitary, fire protection and mechanical plans to actual site locations based on established and agreed references to serve as a guide for installation.
3. Ensures the correctness, accuracy and consistency of the lines, symbols and line tagging used to avoid confusion and make installation activities easier for the
operations team and quality checking easier for the assigned QAQC Engineer.
4. Checks and ensures that approved materials are available and usable.
5. Checks and ensures that installed works meet quality and client standards.
6. Prepares inspection documents, schedules inspections (internal and with the client), conducts official inspections and testings, documents inspections and testings, and maintains reports that will provide clarity in the status of the project.
7. Ensures As Built Drawings are correct and accurate.
8. Prepares, monitors and updates business and technical correspondence such as but are not limited to Quality Bulletins to ensure that quality is assured and controlled.
9. Reports and analyzes all encountered punchlists and sub-standard work quality during official site inspections and testings to prevent them from happening in the future.
10. Participates in internal and external site audits and other tasks that may be related to Line and Grade, Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Qualifications:
1. Must be a graduate of at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Sanitary)
2. Must have good oral and written communication skills
3. Must be able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
4. Must have good time management and organizational skills
5. Must be conscientious about commitments and responsibilities
