Job summary

The Peninsula Manila is seeking a Room Service Chef to oversee the creation and delivery of exceptional in-room dining experiences. You will lead a culinary team, ensure high standards of quality and presentation, and manage costs and inventory in a fast-paced luxury hotel kitchen.

Located in Makati, this role requires 2–5 years of hotel or Room Service experience and a strong background in cooking techniques, food safety, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of culinary experience in a hotel, restaurant, or Room Service.
• Experience as Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and budgeting.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of Room Service orders.
• Supervise daily Room Service kitchen operations, including food production and mise en place.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and sanitation standards.
• Manage food costs, inventory, stocks, and minimize wastage.
• Train and coach culinary team members while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
