Job summary

The Wings Transit Hotel & Spa in the Philippines is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and presentation of guest rooms and assigned areas to the hotel’s exacting standards.

You will make beds, change linens, restock amenities, dust and sanitize surfaces, report maintenance concerns, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to established housekeeping standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize room surfaces and facilities.
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, completeness, and proper presentation before guest occupancy.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, lost-and-found items, and other room conditions to the supervisor.
• Handle guest belongings and hotel property with proper care and confidentiality.
• Respond courteously to reasonable guest requests and coordinate with other departments when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, linens, and other housekeeping materials.
• Observe hotel policies, safety procedures, hygiene standards, and workplace rules.

About the role

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall presentation of guest rooms and assigned areas while ensuring that hotel cleanliness and service standards are consistently met.

About you

• Preferably Hospitality Management graduate.

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage but not required.

• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties, standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required.
