Overview

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained according to hotel standards. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing amenities, and attending to special guest requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms.
• Dust all surfaces.
• Replenish amenities (towels, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, etc.).
• Empty trash and ashtrays.
• Spot clean walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and special needs.
• Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks) to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Ensure guest privacy and security at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field is a plus, but not always required for entry-level positions.
