Job summary

TERADYNE in the Philippines seeks an Engineering Technician to perform hands-on hardware testing for robot products, including PCBAs, cables, and mechanical components. You will support design validation and product testing to verify performance against requirements, documenting results.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 2–4 years in hardware testing or technician roles, experience with PCBA, cables, or assemblies, ability to read schematics, and familiarity with test

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, or related).
2-4 years of experience in hardware testing or technician roles.
Hands-on experience with PCBA, cable, or mechanical assembly testing.
Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and test procedures.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and hands-on technical skills.
Experience in robotics, automation, or industrial equipment.
Exposure to field application testing or customer-driven evaluations.
Familiarity with basic test equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope).
Willingness to travel on-site or customer-related testing when needed.

Responsibilities

Execute functional, electrical, and mechanical testing of PCBAs, cables, and assemblies.
Perform design verification and validation while documenting results.
Assist in hardware bring-up, debugging, root cause analysis, and prototype test assembly.
Support FAEs by conducting product tests for customer applications.
Maintain clear test records, reports, and validation documentation.
Assist in implementing and validating engineering changes.
Collaborate with engineering, test, and field teams to ensure safety & quality.
