Job summary
Teradyne in Cebu City, Philippines, is seeking a skilled Technician to support testing and repair of PCBA assemblies. You will run Teradyne PCBAs and system setup, interpret failure data, and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues.
The role requires Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics training, hands-on board repair experience, and strong attention to detail. You will perform visual inspection, packing, and shipping of boards, while adhering to safety and quality
Qualifications
- Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics degree with board repair experience.
- Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair.
- Experience with hardware/software validation/verification for medium to high-end testers is advantageous.
- Goal-oriented, flexible, hardworking, and computer literate.
Responsibilities
- Follow PCBA handling procedures with high accuracy.
- Run full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and system setup per procedures.
- Interpret failure datalog from test programs and troubleshoot with teammates.
- Execute defined steps to fix PCBA with repetitive testing and troubleshooting.
- Perform visual inspection to ensure proper reassembly and absence of defects.
- Pack and ship boards as required.
- Collaborate with Technicians and Engineers on process and quality improvements.
- Comply with company rules, policies, and procedures.
