Responsibilities include operating IDS/IFS/IBC equipment, troubleshooting, and supporting preventive maintenance.

The role focuses on optimizing processes to increase productivity, reduce waste, and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience with automated dosing and packaging systems preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMIs and industrial networks.
• Ability to troubleshoot dosing, weighing and conveying systems.
• Willingness to work compressed schedules and overtime as needed.

Job description

An RM (Raw Materials) Dosing Equipment Engineer is responsible for managing, monitoring, and controlling automated, semi-automated Ingredient Dosing systems (IDS) and Ingredient Filling System (IFS) that precisely measure and dispense powder raw materials into Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC) to ensure batch accuracy and strict quality control. He will be responsible for ensuring that all related equipment, machines, and processes of the IDS/IFS/IBC Washer are functioning as per design. Lead in troubleshooting, resolve operational issues, and extend help during preventive maintenance schedules.

Optimize processes with the main purpose of increasing productivity, eliminating or reducing waste, reducing costs, and ensuring quality standards are maintained.

DUTIES

1. System Operation & Monitoring: Automation & Control: Utilization of Programming and troubleshooting PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMI units to select recipes, start dosing processes, and ensure accurate flow rates and chemical mixing.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Electronica Mechatronics, Instrumentation and Controls,

Experience

• Basic understanding of raw materials properties i.e., viscosity, flowability, humidity

• Ability to understand PLC controls and automated machinery dashboards

• Experience with various types of sensors, actuators, motors and industrial automation systems

• Knowledgeable in troubleshooting of Dosing, weighing and Conveying systems

• Familiar with computers and Industrial Networks

Qualification Guide

Equipment to be Used: Material handling/ dosing equipment, PLCs, HMI, Computer

Willing for a schedule in compressed work scheme: 9.6 hours, Monday through Friday; regular hours: 8am-6:36pm

Shifting schedule is observed, too.

Working beyond office hours will result in overtime and premium compensation.
