Responsibilities

• Prepares the credit risk portfolio and recommends new metrics for management and the Board to understand credit risk evolution and risk-return trade-offs.
• Performs quality assurance checks and reconciles data from multiple sources.
• Develops and applies analytical models to assess impact of scenarios on credit risk and detect risk appetite breaches.
• Interprets regulatory and internal policies relevant to portfolio credit risk management and implements changes accordingly.
• Liaises with business units, operations, IT, and other parties to enhance portfolio credit risk management.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Summary: The Risk Officer-Credit Risk and Performance analyses & measures credit risks.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepares the credit risk portfolio & recommends new metrics for management & the BoD to understand the evolution of credit risk & its relationship with the business environment as well as gauge the risk-return trade-offs of the Bank's budget, strategies, & risk appetite
• Performs quality assurance checks & reconciliation of pertinent data from various sources
• Develops & applies analytical models & tools to assess the impact of expectations & other scenarios on the Bank's credit risks &/or determine the scenarios that could lead to credit risks that go beyond the Bank's risk appetite
• Interprets regulatory & internal policies that are relevant to portfolio credit risk management & implements process adjustments accordingly
• Liaises with business units, operations, IT, & other relevant parties to enhance the management of portfolio credit risk
• Performs other activities that may be assigned by his or her functional superiors.
