Job summary

Mastercard in Manila is seeking a Manager, Risk Management to support Real Time Payments International (RTP INT) in the APAC region. Based in Manila, you will report to the 2nd line Risk VP in London and help safeguard our payments infrastructure and customer services.

You will collaborate with Biz Ops, Engineering, and risk owners to establish robust governance, monitor controls, and drive risk awareness across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in risk management, business continuity planning, or a related field.
• Experience in regulated payments and financial services.
• Ability to assess technology controls, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Experience handling regulatory and customer audits and governance practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Mastercard Global Technology Risk Management, Regional Technology, Local technology and Biz Ops for risk activity alignment.
• Conduct independent assessments of first line controls and provide recommendations.
• Develop and update risk and control process documentation.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and gather evidence.
• Provide risk briefings to management on risks, issues and appetite breaches.
• Collaborate with control owners to gather security and operational metrics for reports.
• Ensure resilience and manage vendor relationships to mitigate risk.
