Job summary

AIA is seeking a driven Risk and Compliance professional to assist the Principal in formulating control and monitoring procedures and to implement monitoring activities in our Manila office. The role focuses on timely reporting, dissemination of regulatory updates, and ensuring first-line adherence to compliance frameworks.

Ideal candidates will have a law/finance/business background, 3+ years in trust/risk/investment compliance, and strong analytical and communication skills to clearly convey

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in trust compliance, risk management, or investment compliance.
• Familiarity with trust regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with investment compliance systems and related monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate compliance risks and recommend solutions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritise multiple projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey compliance requirements to collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Risk and Compliance Principal in the formulation of control and monitoring procedures.
• Implement monitoring procedures.
• Proactively support first-line adherence through timely preparation and dissemination of monitoring reports and reminders on action items.
• Prepare regulatory and other risk and compliance reports.
• Assist in disseminating new regulations and formulating guidance for compliance procedures.
• Timely submission of reports.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Risk and Compliance Principal.
