Job summary

AIA is seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager in the Philippines to support the distribution business with effective management of compliance and operational risks. The role is part of the Second Line of Defense and works with distribution teams to implement controls, monitor conduct, and drive risk improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in financial industry (insurance or banking).
• Experience in risk management and compliance.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis and action plans on incidents, audits, RCSA, and risk initiatives.
• Supervise Market Conduct risk to ensure policy adherence.
• Oversee market conduct implementation and disciplinary process including investigations.
• Advise on risk migration and control framework improvements.
• Communicate Risk Management awareness across business units and functions.
• Monitor first-line incident monitoring, investigations and remediation recommendations.
• Conduct second-line control reviews with findings and recommendations.
• Drive project management for risk and control initiatives.
• Identify control weaknesses and implement new tools and controls.
• Prepare risk management reports and track tool implementations.
