Job summary

WeConnect Technology Philippines Inc. is seeking a Land Acquisition Specialist to secure rights-of-way and related access for project sites in the Philippines. You will verify ownership, negotiate easements, and prepare all necessary documentation while working with Engineering, Legal, and Project Management teams.

You will liaise with government agencies for permits and ensure timely progress of ROW activities, maintaining accurate records and reporting risks to delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire required right-of-way, easements, and property access for project sites.
• Coordinate with landowners, property developers, homeowners' associations (HOAs), and local government units (LGUs).
• Conduct site visits, property verification, and ownership validation.
• Negotiate access agreements, easements, leases, and compensation with landowners.
• Prepare, process, and maintain right-of-way documentation, contracts, and permits.
• Liaise with government agencies for permits, clearances, and regulatory approvals.
• Resolve land ownership issues, disputes, and access concerns affecting project implementation.
• Maintain accurate records of negotiations, agreements, permits, and project status.
• Work closely with Engineering, Site Acquisition, Legal, Construction, and Project Management teams.
• Monitor project schedules to ensure right-of-way activities are completed on time.
• Provide regular progress reports and identify risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
