Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a ROW Manager to lead right-of-way acquisition for ARI projects in the Philippines. You will negotiate with landowners, conduct land due diligence, and prepare and review land agreements to support timely project delivery.

You will collaborate with SRRLC and cross-functional teams, manage risk, ensure compliance with permits, and drive community engagement to minimize disruption and maximize project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any 4-year course, preferably Bachelor of Laws/Juris Doctor.
• 5 years of Right-of-Way experience in infra, railways, tollways, RE projects
• 2 years of project experience
• Experience in due diligence, high level assessment, and negotiations in land acquisition and conversion
• Familiarity with land-related contracts

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with technical, engineering and legal teams to identify routes/sites for project components.
• Manage commercial and legal risks during ROW acquisition to protect ARI’s interests.
• Gather documentation for screening, land due diligence, and land rights processes from landowners and agencies.
• Ensure due diligence and financial close processes for all property aspects.
• Manage internal approval and document control for property agreements.
• Provide visibility to AVP on immediate concerns to enable forward plans.
• Liaise with government entities, community leaders, and private entities to meet ROW targets.
• Initiate internal meetings to address risks in land documentation.
