Job summary

CAMOX PHILIPPINES, INC. - OVERSEAS is seeking a skilled Steel Erector to join our field team in the Philippines.

You will erect and install steel frameworks for mining plants, set beams with cranes, and assist welders in structural assembly, following engineering specs. Candidates should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience, be comfortable working at heights on remote mining sites, and adhere to fall protection and lifting safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of working experience required.
• No minimum education required.
• Technical knowledge: Rigging practices, welding basics, blueprint reading, crane signaling.
• Physical ability: Strength, stamina, ability to work at heights and in remote mining sites.
• Safety awareness: Strong knowledge of fall protection, lifting protocols, and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Erect and install steel frameworks for mining plants, conveyors, crushers, and support structures.
• Position and secure beams, girders, and columns using cranes, rigging gear, and alignment tools.
• Work with riggers and crane operators to safely lift and place heavy steel members.
• Use hand signals or radios to coordinate lifting operations in rugged mining environments.
• Bolt, rivet, or weld steel components according to engineering specifications
• Perform tack welding and assist certified welders during structural assembly.
