Job summary

CAMOX PHILIPPINES, INC. - OVERSEAS is seeking a skilled welder to join our team. The role focuses on SMAW welding to drawings and specifications, with emphasis on quality, safety, and productivity.

You will read simple fabrication drawings, prepare metal surfaces, select electrodes and currents, and weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. You will also operate welding machines and maintain tools and PPE according to procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Experience in construction/steel fabrication.
• Able to read simple fabrication drawings and take measurements.
• Willing to undergo trade test and Russian language course.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding using SMAW according to specs and drawings.
• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, cutting, grinding, fitting.
• Select electrodes and currents based on material and weld.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions; inspect welds for defects.
• Operate and maintain welding machines and PPE; follow safety procedures.
