Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience as a rig mechanic in the Mining or Drilling industry.
• Proficiency in various drilling rigs including Diamond Core and Reverse Circulation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Preferred NCII certification
• English and Filipino communication abilities
• Certifications such as OSHA/First Aid are a plus
• Willing to be assigned to various sites in the Philippines

Job description

We are seeking experienced Rig Mechanics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of exploration drill rigs used in the mining industry. This requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components associated with various types of drilling rigs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on drilling rigs, including Rotary, Diamond Core, and Reverse Circulation Rigs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on rigs.
• Assist with the setup and teardown of drilling rigs at various job sites.
• Collaborate with the drilling crew to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• At least5-10 yearsof experience as a rig mechanic in the Mining or Drilling industry.
• Proficiency in a variety of drilling rigs, including but not limited to:Diamond Core Rigs, Surface and Underground(e.g., Epiroc, Boart Longyear, Atlas Copco, etc.), andReverse Circulation, Percussion, and Rotary Rigs(e.g., Schramm, Sandvik, Furukawa, Epiroc).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding ofHydraulicsandElectrical Systems.
• Preferably with an NCII Certification.
• Can communicate in English and Filipino, and have the ability to work with different cultures.
• Relevant Certifications are a plus (e.g., OSHA, First Aid, etc.).
• Willing to be assigned to various sites in the Philippines.
