Job summary

IDP Education Ltd is seeking a Revenue Assurance & Reporting Officer to safeguard revenue performance by ensuring accuracy and integrity of revenue data and reporting. The role oversees revenue cycle controls, leakages, and governance, delivering dashboards and insights to improve forecasting and profitability.

Responsibilities include end-to-end controls, variance analysis, and collaboration with Finance, AR, and Operations to align KPIs and drive informed commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in financial reporting or financial assurance.
• Strong analytical and numerical capability with large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modelling).
• Hands-on experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker).
• SQL for data extraction, reconciliation and validation.
• Understanding of IFRS15/ASC606 revenue recognition.
• Experience producing timely, insight-driven revenue reports.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor end-to-end revenue assurance controls.
• Identify revenue leakages and investigate pricing or application errors.
• Maintain a control register with risk ratings and remediation actions.
• Review contracted prices and commissions across systems.
• Produce revenue performance and cohort analyses with dashboards.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve forecasting and profitability.
• Perform data reconciliations between source systems and GL.
• Collaborate with AR, Regional Finance, and Operations to align KPIs.
