Job Description Summary

The Retail Program Coordinator acts as a central enabler across a multi‑year, multi‑region Retail portfolio transformation, ensuring accurate and timely project data from country teams supports reporting, forecasting, and governance requirements. Working closely within the Project Controls team, the role maintains strong visibility into Retail project timelines, approvals, and benchmarks while partnering with Asset Management, Portfolio Strategy, and Experience teams.

About the Role
  • Coordinate with Retail Strategy, Business, Property, and Project Controls teams to align global Retail Banking strategies, scorecards, financials, and Branch Transformation objectives through consistent governance and tailored processes.
  • Establish and maintain standardized programme management frameworks, cadences, tools, and ways of working to drive consistency, reduce duplication, enable continuous improvement, and ensure operational excellence across the Global Retail portfolio.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for internal and client stakeholders across regions; provide accurate, timely communication on programme status, risks, forecasts (dates and costs), and performance metrics.
  • Support multiple project managers and leads by ensuring integration across disciplines, quality assurance, process compliance, risk mitigation, prioritisation of capital plans, and on‑time, on‑budget delivery of projects and programmes.
  • Deliver analytical insights, performance reporting, and quality‑controlled management information; coordinate SMEs and working groups, support development of the Retail Portfolio Book of Work, and drive execution of Global Retail Portfolio Strategy.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4–5 years’ experience in Program Management or a PMO role; strong understanding of financial principles and advanced financial analysis.
  • Ability to interpret complex documents, perform quantitative analysis, and solve multifaceted problems with sound judgment.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including process improvement, negotiation, decision-making, and use of PM tools and techniques.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, build effective client relationships, and deliver persuasive presentations on complex topics.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment; proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and Power BI, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
