Job summary

Rockwell Land Corporation is seeking a Design Associate (Retail) to manage the design and fit-out process for retail tenants across our developments. You will guide tenants, architects, and designers from concept through construction, ensuring designs meet Rockwell’s standards and aesthetic vision.

The role requires strong retail design experience, tenant coordination, and the ability to review submissions, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely turnover to support store openings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in architecture or interior design with relevant licensing.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail design or tenant fit-out coordination.
• Experience reviewing tenant concepts through construction drawings and approvals.
• Experience in mall/commercial developments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review tenant concept plans and drawings for retail stores to ensure compliance with design guidelines.
• Lead and coordinate tenants, architects, and designers from concept through turnover.
• Provide design guidance and resolve technical issues during project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to mall standards and safety.
• Maintain design documentation and support timely tenant openings.
• Coordinate with mall operations and project teams as needed.
