Job summary

Gunita Villas and Pavilion in the Philippines is seeking a versatile maintenance professional to respond to guest requests and perform repairs across rooms and public areas. The role covers electrical, plumbing, IT tasks, and safe operation of resort systems.

The candidate will also handle carpentry, welding, blueprint reading, tool inventory, preventive maintenance, and emergency response, ensuring quality workmanship and guest safety.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and attend to guest maintenance requests.
• Perform room and public area repairs, such as toilets, drains, lights, and appliances.
• Program TVs and perform basic IT and mechanical repairs.
• Operate and maintain electrical, plumbing, and other resort systems.
• Check and interpret meters, gauges, and equipment readings.
• Conduct regular checking of breakers, generator sets, and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot internet connection issues.
• Install and repair cable lines and wiring.
• Perform carpentry, tile, masonry, painting, and welding works.
• Execute electrical, mechanical, and plumbing works.
• Read and understand basic blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Maintain and properly store all maintenance tools and equipment.
• Check and maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, and request replacements when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to a set schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and repairs.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in protecting guests, employees, and resort facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all maintenance work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Resort General Manager.
