Reca Resort Inc. is seeking a Resort Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure guest rooms, grounds, and amenities stay safe and appealing. You will handle routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to urgent guest service requests to uphold a 5-star experience.
You will work across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, assist in pool and spa areas, document work in CMMS, and participate in on-call rotations while following safety protocols.
The Resort Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall functionality, safety, and aesthetic condition of the resort’s guest rooms, grounds, amenities, and support structures. This role involves executing general repairs, performing preventative maintenance programs, and addressing urgent guest service requests to ensure a seamless 5‑star experience.
1. General Facility & Building Maintenance
Perform routine repair work on guest accommodations, common areas, dining facilities, and exterior structures.
Execute basic repairs in drywall, framing, painting, plastering, flooring, and masonry to maintain a polished property appearance.
Troubleshoot and repair doors, locks, furniture, windows, and property hardware.
2. Mechanical, Plumbing & Electrical Systems
Diagnose and resolve basic electrical issues (replacing fixtures, switches, outlets, ballast, and interior/exterior lighting).
Perform general plumbing maintenance including fixing leaks, clearing drain clogs, and installing/servicing faucets, toilets, and showers.
Assist in routine HVAC servicing, such as changing filters, cleaning coils, and monitoring climate control systems.
3. Amenities & Aquatics (Pool & Spa)
Assist in filtration checks, and water features.
Inspect outdoor amenities, recreational equipment, and walkways to eliminate safety hazards.
4. Preventative Maintenance & Logging
Complete scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) checklists on machinery, guest room units, kitchen gear, and resort equipment.
Log all completed repairs, work orders, and inventory usages into the facility's management software (CMMS).
5. Guest Relations & Emergency Response
Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests and dispatch calls.
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency repairs (e.g., major water leaks, power outages, HVAC failures).
Adhere to resort safety protocols, OSHA standards, and Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures at all times.
Guest-Centric Mindset: Polite demeanor and polished communication skills around high‑end resort guests.
Problem‑Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and prioritize urgent tasks.
