Job summary

Empire East Land Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Property Accountant to manage daily accounting operations for a residential property. The role includes billing, collections, GL maintenance, and preparing monthly financial statements and cash flow reports.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Finance, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and knowledge of Philippine tax laws. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA license is an advantage).
• 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Knowledgeable in Philippine tax laws and BIR compliance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and accounting/property management systems.
• Willing to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily accounting operations of the property including billing, collections, payables, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget variance analysis.
• Monitor and manage association dues billing, collections, and aging of receivables.
• Process and record disbursements, ensuring completeness of supporting documents and proper approvals.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, BIR reportorial requirements, and audit standards.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure readiness of financial records for internal and external audits.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and management reporting.
