enablesGROUP is seeking a Residential Draftsperson in Ortigas, Pasig, PH. The role focuses on producing accurate architectural documentation and customised block designs for residential and resort-style projects.

You will ensure designs are clear, constructible, and compliant, collaborating closely with design and construction teams to deliver efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced ArchiCAD skills and ability to create 2D/3D drawings from specs.
• Ability to interpret annexures, sketches and data from stakeholders.
• Understanding of building codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Strong spatial reasoning and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and design using ArchiCAD to produce detailed drawings.
• Developing 3D models and visual representations for client presentations.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and adherence to standards in all drawings.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and site managers to integrate designs.
• Update drawings through design/construction phases and track revisions.
• Perform quality checks and resolve discrepancies during reviews.

Job Title: Residential Draftsperson
Location: Ortigas, Pasig, PH
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PH Time (Hybrid | 3x Onsite, 2x WFH)

Position Summary

The Residential Draftsperson is responsible for producing accurate, high-quality architectural documentation and customised block designs to support residential and resort-style projects.

The role ensures designs are clear, constructible, and compliant with project requirements, while collaborating closely with the design and construction teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting and Design

• Creating detailed technical drawings and plans using ArchiCAD based on annexures, colour/product specifications, sketches, and other data provided by management, engineers, consultants, or other stakeholders.

• Developing 3D models and visual representations to support design understanding and client presentations.

• Customising block designs and layouts to suit site-specific conditions and client requirements.

Accuracy and Detail

• Ensuring all drawings and models are accurate, clear, and complete, adhering to relevant standards, codes, and project requirements.

• Performing dimensional checks, cross-referencing details, and verifying consistency across plans.

• Identifying potential design clashes or constructability issues before they reach the site.

Communication

• Effectively communicating technical information and design concepts to management, team members, estimators, sales staff, and other stakeholders.

• Preparing clear visual aids, diagrams, and schedules to support project coordination.

• Providing prompt updates to the team on changes or issues arising in documentation.

Collaboration

• Working closely with designers, engineers, site managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to integrate various design elements into cohesive plans.

• Actively participating in design workshops, project meetings, and brainstorming sessions.

• Supporting a team-oriented culture by sharing knowledge, insights, and best practices.

Revision and Modification

• Updating and revising drawings throughout the design and construction process, incorporating feedback and changes.

• Tracking revisions to maintain version control and ensure the latest information is used across teams.

• Adapting designs to address site-specific constraints, client requests, or regulatory changes.

Quality Control

• Conducting quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of drawings and models.

• Ensuring compliance with internal design standards, client requirements, and legislative codes.

• Supporting the resolution of any discrepancies identified during internal or external reviews.

Documentation

• Maintaining well-organised records of drawings, revisions, and project files for future reference, auditing, and handover purposes.

• Preparing supporting documentation such as schedules, annotations, and specifications.

• Ensuring all documentation meets company and project standards for clarity and completeness.

Problem Solving

• Identifying and resolving design issues, discrepancies, or clashes through careful analysis and collaboration with management or senior team members.

• Providing alternative design solutions that are practical, cost-effective, and compliant.

• Proactively mitigating risks in the design phase to prevent construction delays.

Skills & Experience

• Advanced skills in ArchiCAD software used for creating 2D plans and 3D modelling to effectively visualize and communicate designs

• Ability to create accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams based on specifications and requirements.

• Understanding and application of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards applicable to drafting and design.

• Strong spatial reasoning skills to interpret and translate design concepts into detailed drawings and models.

• Ability to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards in all drawings and designs produced.

• Basic understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation related to drafting activities.

• Capability to identify and resolve design issues and discrepancies through analytical thinking and collaboration with engineers and architects.
