Job summary

Shore360, a 100% Australian-owned BP firm based in the Philippines, is seeking a Residential Construction Estimator to prepare precise takeoffs and cost estimates for residential projects. You will review plans, obtain quotes from suppliers, and support the Estimating Manager to ensure alignment with project scope and specifications.

The role requires strong detail orientation, experience with takeoffs, and proficiency in Excel, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• At least four years of experience in Australian residential construction estimating or quantity surveying, preferably high-end custom homes.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards and NCC is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading architectural, structural, and consultant drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, hydraulic, and other construction plans and specifications.
• Prepare detailed and accurate takeoffs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted works.
• Identify missing, unclear, or inconsistent items in plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with Estimating Manager or others regarding project requirements.
• Maintain and update database of material prices, subcontractor rates, and supplier information.
• Assist in preparing project proposals, quotations, bids, and contracts.
• Maintain complete and organized records, calculations, quotations, and supporting documents.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management.
