Job summary

DoubleDragon Properties Corp. is seeking a capable Reservations Specialist to support the front desk and reservation teams. You will assist agents, manage room availability, and ensure courteous, accurate guest service at all times.

Knowledge of hotel operations, room rates, and channel management is preferred; you will be trained on hotel software and reservation processes to maintain records and optimize guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management or related course.
• Preferred previous experience in a similar role.
• Has training abilities, reservations, and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a main resource for reservation agents needing assistance technically or with regards to achieving customer satisfaction.
• Ensure Reservation Department and Front Office staff are aware of room availability and rates to offer.
• Responds to all guest reservation requests with prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, facilities and services.
• Answer guest inquiries pertaining to hotel services.
• Assist and prepare in group pre-arrival process and group rooming lists.
• Track reservations from online channels (hotel website, OTA, GDS, third parties).
• Update no-shows and cancellations on all OTAs to avoid commissions.
• Verify reservations on forms are updated in the PMS consistently.
• Enforce hotel and company credit policies and payment methods on reservations.
• Handle amenity or transportation requests promptly and coordinate with concerned departments.
• Record and file reservation correspondence neatly on prescribed forms.
