Job summary

YSS Laboratories Co., Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to lead formulation development and manufacturing processes, ensuring FDA registration compliance and timely execution.

The role covers pilot runs, process validation, and initial production with regulatory alignment. The ideal candidate offers a solid background in pharmaceutical formulation, regulatory standards, data analysis, and technical writing, with strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry or its equivalent experience; preferably licensed.
• At least three (3) years work experience in pharmaceutical formulation and manufacturing process development and familiarity with FDA guidelines.
• Basic understanding of formulation science, experimental design principles, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Computer literate; Proficient in data analysis and technical writing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates urgency, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Preferably with a valid driver's license to support work-related travel.

Job description

I. BASIC FUNCTIONS

1. Responsible for the development of product formulations and manufacturing processes in compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements for product registration and in accordance with the prescribed time frame at minimal cost.

2. Responsible for overseeing pilot, process validation, and initial commercial productions, and for making adjustments to product formulations and manufacturing processes when necessary and their corresponding regulatory compliance requirements.

3. Responsible for contributing to cost-efficiency programs through proper utilization of materials and equipment.

II. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
