Job summary

Vertere Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Requirements Analyst responsible for analyzing, documenting, and clarifying business and system requirements and supporting testing activities throughout the software lifecycle.

This role works closely with business and technical teams to ensure solutions meet defined requirements. The position involves translating requirements into clear, testable scenarios, developing test cases, and supporting functional, regression, integration, and other testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of requirements analysis and software testing experience.
• Solid understanding of testing concepts and lifecycle.
• Experience in creating and executing test cases and test design techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and user stories.
• Experience with interfaces or system integrations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The Requirements Analyst is responsible for analyzing, documenting, and clarifying business and system requirements and supporting testing activities to ensure solutions meet the defined requirements. The role works closely with business and technical teams throughout the software development and testing lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and clarify business and system requirements

• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear and testable scenarios

• Prepare and review test cases based on requirements, specifications, and other reference documents

• Support testing activities across the software development lifecycle

• Apply appropriate test case design techniques and testing methodologies

• Perform and support functional, regression, integration, and other applicable testing activities

• Validate applications, interfaces, and system integrations against requirements

• Identify, document, and track defects and support their resolution

• Work closely with developers, business users, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and testing expectations

• Use applicable testing tools to support test execution and defect management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience in Requirements Analysis and software testing

• Strong understanding of requirements analysis and software testing concepts and lifecycle

• Experience in creating and executing test cases and applying test case design techniques

• Knowledge of functional, regression, unit, and integration testing

• Experience working with applications involving interfaces or system integrations

• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and user stories

• Familiarity with software testing tools

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills

• Good communication and collaboration skills
