Job summary

Nadara is seeking a Control Room and Performance Monitoring Specialist to join our Philippines team. You will monitor renewable assets (PV, Wind, BESS) and coordinate with O&M and asset management to ensure accurate performance reporting.

Responsibilities include data collection, trend analysis, and producing periodic reports for clients and financiers, with day-to-day collaboration with the Manila team. A engineering degree and 1+ year of renewables experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in the renewable energy sector and asset performance/monitoring (PV, Wind, BESS).
• Excel with VB and Python scripting; GIS and AutoCAD are a plus.
• Fluent English and Tagalog; Spanish/Italian/Japanese are a plus.
• Awareness of how SCADA and data collection works.
• Driving license and willingness to travel time to time.
• International team working mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily or weekly monitoring of performance affecting production of renewable energy portfolios (PV, Wind, BESS) across assets in different countries on NUO platform.
• Collect information from O&M and asset manager to correctly allocate events, incidents, faults and underperformance.
• Follow up with O&M and asset manager until closure of events, including data for reporting and losses calculation.
• Draft recursive contractual reporting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly for asset managers.
• Analyze performance to spot trends and defects across Solar, Wind and BESS assets; compare components and assets under monitoring.
• Calculate availability using digital platform and instruments; coordinate with asset manager and O&M.
• Support asset manager in losses calculations for business interruption related to insurance claims.
• Collaborate with Technical Asset Management and Technical Advisory to generate performance reports.
• Attend scheduled meetings with asset management to share asset information.
• Assist in delivering reports to clients and financing parties on plant performance per contract.
• Support Manila-based Technical Asset Management team in day-to-day asset activities in the Philippines.
