Job summary

China Energy Engineering Group Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (Singapore Branch) is seeking a Civil/Design Engineer to lead civil design activities for renewable energy and energy storage projects.

You will collaborate with C&S consultants, prepare drawings and specs, and ensure site safety and regulatory compliance across projects in Asia. The role requires 2+ years in civil/structural design with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D, and fluency in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

ITE/Diploma/Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering required.
At least 2 years in civil/structural design or a consultancy in construction/engineering; renewable energy experience preferred.
Familiarity with construction processes, local regulations, BCA/SCDF and safety requirements.
SDCP certification is a plus.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and MS Office.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to work independently.
Fluent in English and Mandarin.
Willingness to travel overseas including China and Asia sites.

Responsibilities

Liaise with Civil & Structural (C&S) consultants to develop structural schemes and perform analyses.
Participate in design and development of civil engineering for renewable energy and energy storage projects.
Oversee design and implementation of civil elements, ensuring compliance with standards and safety.
Coordinate with clients, internal teams and authorities for timelines and deliverables.
Attend project meetings and site visits, providing technical input and solutions.
