Job summary

GHD is seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer to join our Energy and Resources team in a hybrid work arrangement. You will contribute to the design and delivery of utility-scale and commercial solar projects, with potential exposure to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and wind projects.

The role emphasizes electrical design, reports, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable energy solutions. Three days in-office per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer credentials required.
• At least 3 years' experience in Solar PV projects.
• Exposure to BESS, substations, or power infrastructure is advantageous.
• Experience in the design and delivery of renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of power systems and relevant industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of renewable energy projects including Solar PV, BESS, and power infrastructure.
• Perform electrical design calculations, technical assessments, and studies.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation.

As the demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we're looking for a Renewable Energy Engineer to join our Energy and Resources team.

In this role, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of utility-scale and commercial solar projects, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable energy solutions. While the role is primarily focused on solar energy, there may be opportunities to support other renewable technologies, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and wind projects.
