Job summary

Remote Employee BPO is seeking an experienced Xero/MYOB Bookkeeper to manage a portfolio of clients from a home-based setup. You will own the full bookkeeping function, not只是 data entry, with end-to-end responsibilities across payables, receivables, payroll, and reporting.

The role requires 3+ years of multi-client bookkeeping, certificates in Bookkeeping, and strong payroll knowledge. You will interact with clients and colleagues to deliver accurate financial insights while improving workflows

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience in multi-client roles.
• Certificate III or Certificate IV in Bookkeeping required.
• Strong payroll knowledge including awards and payroll compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in Xero and MYOB accounting software.
• Experience using apps and software add-ons to improve efficiency.
• Confident in reviewing reports and discussing financials with clients.
• Willingness to attend client offices; own car essential.
• Australian work rights required; overseas candidates not considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for a diverse client portfolio.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable; oversee workflows and controls.
• Payroll administration including onboarding, awards, and compliance.
• Prepare BAS and IAS and ensure compliance with ATO requirements.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review P&L for accuracy.
• Identify errors, risks, or unusual transactions and resolve or escalate.
• Prepare and present management reports for client decision-making.
• Serve as primary bookkeeping contact for clients and explain financials clearly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain service standards.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement add-ons.
• Attend client meetings or offices to support onboarding and reviews.
