Job summary

Ethos is expanding its expert network and seeks experienced user insights managers to help train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will own the full study lifecycle from discussion guides to insight synthesis, producing decks, journey maps, and briefs that inform product direction.

This fully remote role offers flexible hours (5–20 per week, or more if desired), ASAP start, and compensation of $70 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research with ownership of the full study lifecycle.
• Fluency with thematic coding, survey design/statistics, and translating data into usability findings.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Lead moderated usability test findings decks and synthesis reports.
• Develop journey maps and insight briefs translating findings into product recommendations.
• Design research instruments and provide insights to inform model training.
