Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced customer and user researchers to help train its language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated outputs across core workflows, including interview synthesis, usability testing, and journey maps.

This fully remote, flexible role offers $70/hour for 5–20 hours per week, with ASAP start. Candidates should have 4+ years of research experience, fluency in thematic coding and survey design, and

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research with ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide to insight synthesis.
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating raw research data into usability test findings decks and journey map documents.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
• Lead moderated usability tests and synthesize findings into decks and briefs.
• Design surveys, discussion guides, and screener criteria; translate findings into product recommendations.
