Job summary

ConnectOS seeks a US Family Law Paralegal to support one attorney with substantive drafting on family law matters. This drafting-heavy role requires attention to case facts, precision in documents, and minimal revision before attorney review.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of family law paralegal experience, strong analytical skills, and high English proficiency. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, cloud storage, and Smokeball is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of family law paralegal experience.
• Ability to draft polished legal documents with minimal revision.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking applied to case facts and records.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Acrobat, and cloud storage.
• Willingness to learn Smokeball and other practice management software.
• High level of English, both spoken and written.
• Able to work full-time hours in US Central Time.
• Maintain client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Draft fact-specific motions, pleadings, and court documents for family law matters.
• Draft marital and premarital agreements under attorney direction.
• Prepare balance sheets and financial summaries for each matter.
• Organize, review, and analyze documents for discovery responses.
• Maintain organized case files in the firm’s practice management system.
• Support one attorney, track deadlines, and return drafts on schedule.
• Communicate with clients on document collection and status updates.
