Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking a US Family Law Paralegal to support one attorney with drafting-heavy work on family law matters.

This role requires attention to detail, strong English, and the ability to manage confidential information from a remote home office. The candidate should have 2–3 years of experience and be comfortable working US Central Time.

The position offers remote work from the Philippines, with the firm adopting Smokeball and related practice-management tools as needed.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of family law paralegal experience.
• Ability to produce polished legal documents that require minimal revision.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking applied to case facts, documents, and financial records.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; Adobe Acrobat; cloud storage; ability to learn Smokeball.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fact-specific motions, pleadings, and supporting court documents for family law matters.
• Draft marital settlements and premarital agreements from attorney direction and client facts.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheets and supporting financial summaries for each matter.
• Organize, review, and analyze documents to prepare accurate discovery responses.
• Maintain organized matter files and records in the firm's practice management system.
• Work directly with one attorney, track assigned work, and meet timelines.
• Communicate with clients on document collection and status updates.
