Jobgether, based in Spain, seeks a UI/UX Director to lead a multidisciplinary design team and bridge creative vision with front-end execution. You will elevate UI/UX across sophisticated web and e-commerce experiences and guide design systems, accessibility, and mobile-first thinking.

The executive role combines client strategy, proposals, and new-business pitches with strong operational ownership, including forecasting and budgets, in a flexible remote environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in digital design with executive leadership experience.
• Expert UI design skills and practical front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS/JS, React).
• Strong proficiency in Figma, prototyping, design systems, and tokens.
• Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Adobe Commerce) and WCAG.

Responsibilities

• Set creative and technical direction for UI/UX initiatives across projects.
• Lead mobile-first design across websites and omnichannel experiences.
• Oversee design systems, component libraries, and handoffs to front-end teams.
• Provide design leadership for complex e-commerce initiatives.
• Maintain visual consistency, accessibility standards, and high-quality execution.
• Use data and insights to inform design strategy and business impact.
• Champion AI tools to accelerate prototyping and workflows.
• Mentor and develop UX/UI designers and foster a collaborative culture.
• Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and project budgeting.
• Lead client discussions, proposals, and new business pitches.
